The washing off box in our wetroom is an essential winter facility and a very useful summer one. Well drained and well lit, it is a perfect space to soak hay, wash off horses legs, bath and wash boots/rugs/dogs or anything else that gets covered in mud.
The wetroom has hot and cold running water with good pressure on pumped hose pipes which helps us keep mud fever at bay all year round.
There is also a heater on thermostat so that no matter how cold it gets we always have running water. It is large enough to stand two horses in at once and once you’ve had a washing off box you will never want to be without one again.
